Martha is a strengths-focused and mindfulness social worker who practices psychotherapy. She holds a Bachelors in Psychology and Social Work and a Masters of Social Work Degree. She is a registered member of the OntarioCollege of Social Workers & Social Service Workers and Ontario Association of Social Workers.
Martha's approach to working with clients includes a collaborative process facilitating personal insight and growth through talk therapy from a strengths-based, solution-focused, mindfulness and positive psychology approach. She is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Sex Therapy, Narrative, Couples counselling and other therapeutic modalities.
Martha is also a trauma informed therapist and has additional certified training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level 1 and 2.
